the newer rooms in the county have "windows" near the ceiling...too high to reach to open or close, extremely poor ventilation and only small desk fan to move the air around. the breakfast is hit and miss with the bacon overcooked one day and under cooked another, and packets of mouldy cheese for your pleasure. the staff were very nice... more

I use the County regularly. It is clean, the staff are very friendly and the food is great value. For the price this is one of the best value hotels I have stayed in - as clean and efficient as Travelodge etc, slightly cheaper AND you get breakfast thrown in. Don't expect luxury, do expect homely attention to your needs. more
