I stayed here for a conference with work. The hotel is well located and easy to find. The room I had was of a decent standard, clean although unremarkable. Like other reports here, I found the staff to be useless - they barely understood any request I made of them. The food that was provided for our meals was a... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night as guests at a wedding that was being held at the hotel. I have to say it was OK for that purpose but it is not a place I would stay for a leisure trip or for someone staying in the area sightseeing. Handy location right by the M6 at Junction... more

I stayed here for 2 nights recently on a weekend break promotion with my wife and family and thought it would be a good location to visit some sites around the midlands. Firstly, I will say that the hotel itself is well planned out, fairly spacious and has good facilities unfortunately the people working there are just the worst I... more

For an overnight business stay it was ok but this hotel lacks any genuine attention to detail that would make it stand out. more

stayed here for a charity event, initially had problems with hotel trying to deduct money from my card although I did tell them I was paying upon vacating the room. Food was ok, however beef was a too think and hard to cut and chew. Great service though throughout the night. Breakfast was good and very filling. Disappointed that steam... more

This hotel is a great place to stay if you love the Gym and a swim. The Gym is massive and you can always get a machine. The pool is full size and you have the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Rooms are standard, beds comfortable. Breakfast has gone down hill every time we stay, best to get to the... more

Superb deal to book the hotel for 4 nights at £60 per night for a double bed including breakfast. The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent. This hotel is what you expect from Village Hotels. Fantastic hotel for couple, my girlfriend and I spent 4 days here and it was very relaxing. more

I stayed at this hotel for the second time for two nights with my boyfriend. It was great! The rooms have lots of room, very clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage with the room would probably be the lack of tv channels. The leisure facilities are great, we used them alot, and you get to use them all day of... more

Village Hotel & Leisure Club, Walsall Date: 2nd August 2008 My family and I have just spent a one night break at this wonderful hotel. The Family room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and big enough for a family of 4. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food was excellent. I can honestly say I could not fault... more
