Over the first 6 months of this year we have stopped at this hotel 8 times. Being only 20 minutes by car from the centre of Birmingham it makes a great, and cheap (£44.95 per night for a weekend room), place to stay for an overnight stay. We arrived at the hotel two hours before `check-in`time,but it wasn`t a problem. Our room was located on the ground floor just a short walk from reception. Kids wanted to go to Cadburys World, so decided to make a weekend of it. Booked a 2 for 1 deal with Holiday Inn, so for £50 the four of us (mum, dad and 2 kids) stayed 2 nights with parking and breakfast ! Great value for money. Hotel is very new, and was almost empty on the Friday night.... more

This is a new building and is typical of HIExpress hotels. Very handy location - just of the M6 at junction 10. Plenty of free parking and rooms were fantastic value at just £49.99 / night. Stayed one night in a double room which also included a sofa bed. Very clean (hotel is no more than 2 years old I think), modern facilities all of which work. Price of £36 including continental breakfast and free parking was a bargain. Located just off M6 motorway so convenient to get to. more

We stayed here for one night while attending a local wedding reception. I am quite a fan of the Holiday Inn Express brand having used them for business meeting and this one was fine. A fantastic motorway hotel, clean, comfy and nearly new! Excellent value for money, we paid £39 B&B for 2 adults and a baby, cot free.
