The reviews below do not do this hotel justice. It is far worse. Do not be fooled by the public areas which are fine including the leisure club, dining rooms and reception. When you arrive at your room things change. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the corridors and your room when u arrive will be baking hot... more

I travel extensively with my job, and I have to say this hotel is awful. The staff were unhelpful, the room was worn out, the bed was uncomfortable. And it was expensive, sadly this is the sort of hotel that any holiday maker arriving at Birmingham airport would check into and wonder what sort of country they had arrived in.... more

I stayed here before moving on to the Metropole for a conference. The room was above average and the bar was quite cheap with a pint of stella costing £2.90 (£1 cheaper than the Metropole). Simply though the best thing about our visit was the restuarant, the Table D'Hote menu was £18.95 and it was superb. Highly recommend a visit...... more
