Finding the hotel was a joke, I knew where it was but the one way system is a nightmare to the unsuspecting. Check-in, terrible, served straight away but still took 20mins. Staff poorly trained or simply not given the information they need. Room was very clean, and quiet. The utmost respect to the house keeping team for the room. Unfortunatly... more

Hotel had nice modern decor with amble free parking. Staff were very helpful and room was again modern and clean. Hotel is well placed for anywhere in central Preston. View isnt much (overlooking main road) but is still quiet. would highly recommend more

Stayed here for a night with our 3 year old daughter and 5 week old son. Rooms are spacious and modern with excellent toiletries provided. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and a good range of items. The real highlight of the hotel was the views of the railway line from the 5th floor. This constantly entertained our 3 year old... more

I returned to the hotel last week, and promised a 2nd review after the disasters of last time. Sadly things were no better - I had a different room, but again one of the light bulbs didn't work and the safe didn't work (deja vue). The TV and choice of channels is ace. though. This time there was no shower... more

The first impression of this hotel where we booked a double room for the night while walking the Ribble Way was that it was clean and modern, unlike the surrounding area. Although on arrival there was no soap and only one towel in the bathroom this was soon put right on phoning reception. It was slightly disappointing to find there... more

I stayed here for one weeks holiday in June 2009. Preston itself is not a holiday or short break destination but it does have some really attractive buildings and landscaped parks and river walks, and the shopping is not too bad either. It is also a good base from which to make day trips by rail ( and car) to... more

I stayed here for four days while doing some business with the university. As several have mentioned, there is no A/C, so my room was very hot and stuffy, and my balcony door only opened a tiny bit. Also, bugs and noise came in when the door was open, so my choice was: hot, stuffy room or noisy, buggy one.... more

I arrived at the hotel on a very hot Saturday afternoon. Check-in process was quick and efficient, however when I got up to the room, I found that there was no air con and so the room was far too hot, and the window was jamed so I couldnt open it. When I arrived back at the hotel later on... more

The Hotel is very modern, Tidy and just all round presented very well. The Staff were also very friendly and even went out of there way sometimes to make sure that our stay was enjoyable, they went beyond there job roles. The food was lovely, and there was allot to choose from. In whole staying at this hotel was probably... more
