Hotel was clean, in a great location, full of character and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also very good with a nice variety to chose from. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to family/friends. Far superior than staying in a chain hotel.

Excellent welcome, very clean, good meals and very comfortable beds. Let down a little by plumbing. Waiting 5 minutes for hot water in morning, wondering if it will come through, is not a good start to the day. Photo does need changing; converging verticals do not do it justice - would have sent in one but consistently raining. Overall though... More

Easy parking. Single room was fairly new although some wear and tear already. Coffee/tea/chocolate/water free in room. Shower good.TV did not get BBC1 or BBC2 and couldn't be bothered to ask reception. Breakfast OK - no yoghurt or pastries on buffet as advertised on breakfast menu. Hot breakfast was good. Would stay again possibly although would probably try elsewhere first.

This is by far the most hospitable hotel EVER! For a friendly, welcoming, warm, comfortable stay, this is the place to be. I have stayed here for business on several occasions now and the service is first class every time. The staff are second to none and the rooms all have their own character. Breakfast is beautiful and you will... More

I try not to stay in chain hotels as they are generally devoid of any soul, hence when business sent me to Preston for the evening, I ended up in The Park Hotel. the decor is a bit out of date but the rooms was clean, quiet and comfortable. The evening meal was fine and the breakfast choice good. I... More

Don't be put off by the rather austere photograph of the hotel - it really is very pleasant inside. OK so its not your usual chain hotel, but personally I find those tiresome. The staff are great and you get the feeling that when you're ask if everything is ok, or can they get you anything, they really mean it.... More

We stayed here for 10 days when we were waiting for our house sale to go through. Loved the penthouse suite as it has 2 bedroom snd a lounge so my daughter had her own space. We had great friendly service and in a lovely setting. Only down for us was having to wait for breakfast (waitress style) because we... More

I was booked in at The Park Hotel while on a training course in Preston, what a great place to stay. One of the best beds I have slept in and a great room with a recently decorated modern ensuite. With friendly staff, really good breakfast and excellent evening meals, could not ask for more.

I recently stayed at this hotel choosing it for its location. My stay was for business but having found this excellent hotel I will be returning for pleasure. My room was new and had a stylish décor with modern en suite. My breakfast of eggs benedict alone was worth returning for. A small comfortable bar and friendly staff in this... More
