On a recent trip to Scotland we used this place as an overnight stop. On arrival, the receptionist seemed more interested in her computer than us, but once we had her attention there was no problem. Have just returned from a fantastic Weekend. Travelled from NI to a match at Old Trafford and stayed here on the Saturday night. Rooms were immaculate! Just an overnight stay - lets be honest all interiors are much the same - clean with all the usual amenities.However the bar looked nice and breakfast was plentiful - even catered for veggies.It was the staff that really made it stand out - they were extemely helpful,polite and friendly - a real credit to the place -genuinely cared. more
About 5 miles from Preston, conveniently situated near M6 with plentiful parking. Modern Travel Inn with decent bar and restaurant and play area for young children. Standard, modern motel rooms which are comfortable in their class. Breakfast was good but the hotel is a good bit outside Preston. The worst was the mattress wrapped in plastic, yuck! more
