We stayed overnight at the travel lodge in Leamington Spa while visiting Warwick castle. The room was clean and warn and had plenty of hot water for the slightly smaller than average size bath. I paid £9.50 a night as I had booked a few months in advance. To me therefore this historic hotel, the Regent Hotel, was a real bargain. I arrived to reception staff that were smiling ,helpful and obliging.I asked for a quiet room away from banging corridor doors and I got it....Rm.318 at the back. Not the best of views... more

We visited our son and daughter in law last weekend so spent one night in this excuse for a hotel and paid £70 plus for the experience. For £70 they could only manage one small bar of soap between us. Bed higher at the foot than at the head. Booked a twin, got a double. Appaling. We could have stayed in any other hotel in Leamington Spa for the same price but I insanely chose this one due to a couple of good experiences in the US.... more

I've stayed at a few Travelodge's over the years and this by far is the best one to date. The location is great - right in the middle of Leamington but also this Travelodge must in a previous life have been some old Regency type hotel since you feel like you are going back in time, with elegant stair cases... more

No frills but clean, comfortable, our (double) room had lots of space. Staff issued extra towels and fixed a shower curtain quickly and without fuss (late evening.) Good value, town centre location.
