Very welcoming hosts - nothing too much trouble. Breakfast on offer excellent. Rooms very pleasant. Ideal location for the city centre and restaurants. Not too far to walk to the railway station but taxi ride good value £3-£3.20 if you have cases. Useful base for visiting the University on open day. more

Stayed here for a few nights and were made very welcome. The rooms are comfortable and spotless and the proprietors are very friendly and full of information about the local area. We had to pay a few quid for parking but this was only across the road so we didn't mind. Wonderful breakfast, highly recommended! more

It was wonderful, clean and comfortable, very convenient for the town centre, and with Sally and Fred as your hosts you could not get a warmer welcome anywhere. I would make this my first choice if I was in Lancaster again. more
