We stayed at this hotel for a last minute one night weekend break. For a 4 star hotel in England the rooms are very nice. Spacoius, sofa and table and the well equiped bathroom had a seperate shower and bath tub. The restaurant food was very expensive so we ate at the Toby Carvery a couple of miles away. I spent two nights at this hotel as part of a large party during March. While there were definitely some positives(room size, clean facilities etc) the overall experience was marred by the hotel reception staff who need some training in customer service! more

Stayed here for one night in April 2008 celebrating our wedding anniversary. We live locally, but have spent several nights here over the last few years on special occasions. I simply cannot fault this hotel. The setting is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and furnished to a high standard. The beds are huge, I could go on.... I would recommend this hotel 100% and will definitely keep booking here when I need to stay in the area. more

We stayed at the mount pleasant hotel on the 25/2/08 we had a fantastic evening. The staff was very nice the rooms themselfs was very clean couldn't find any fault at all. We will be going back very soon. more

We stayed here for one Saturday night with our 16 month old baby. The hotel appears to be very well managed. The reception, bar and lounge areas have been updated recently.
