We have stayed at The Mount Pleasant 3 times and always have had a beautiful room. Half their rooms are Junior suites and they are very reasonably priced. The room is huge with beautiful furnishings and a flat screen TV. The large bathroom had a separate shower and a bath with underwater lights! more

The hotel although a little out of town was well worth the journey, on arrival it had a superb lounge area which reall y set the standard for the visit , i did recieve a free upgrade from an executive room to ajunior suite which certainly made the price I paid worth the money. We stayed at this hotel for a last minute one night weekend break. For a 4 star hotel in England the rooms are very nice. I spent two nights at this hotel as part of a large party during March. While there were definitely some positives(room size, clean facilities etc) the overall experience was marred by the hotel reception staff who need some training in customer service! more
