We stayed here recently with our dog and nothing was too much trouble for mine host. It's a bit of a culinary wasteland in this area, but the Angel has been a great discovery to relieve that lack of good grub. Lovely, generous portions of expertly cooked meals and at such good prices. A great discovery that we'll use over and over.

Embarrassed to admit our friends from Rothwell booked us in here -and we only live a short drive away! Superb locally sourced food, expertly cooked, and served with care and pride.
