A mid-sized hotel about a mile from the middle of Doncaster, very close to the race course. It's also on the main route out of town for the ambulance station and the secondary glazed windows often struggle to dampen the street noise. I stayed at this hotel for one night whilst travelling on business. The room was very comfortable and decorated in modern fashion. me and my partner stayed at the grand st leger at the beginning of the month and was quite suprised with the room we got. We paid for a superior room which included a spa bath, and plasma screen. The room was decorated to a high rich standard. Only down side was the shower wasnt hot enough in the morning.... more

I have just returned from the Grand St Leger, having visited family in Doncaster. This was literally one of the best hotels I've stayed in, the standard of rooms was excellent and the food something else. All the staff were extremley firendly and helpful. more
