Traditional tea rooms with a small and perfect menu. Good quality food and good ingredients. I would recommend this place but don't expect anything too big or fancy. It's good, simple, traditional and quality with friendly staff and decent pricing.

We booked three rooms at this centrally located B&B for two nights. The rooms are quite adequate for that period. .However only one had a wardrobe and two only had hand held showers. Room 5 had no storage spaces but was otherwise roomy and comfortable. All rooms overlooked the old market hall which was very atmospheric. Staff were pleasant and... More

Visited the Bantam tea rooms last week with my boyfriend - We had a delicious cream tea. I had one with 2 scones, clotted cream, jam and tea, was absolutely delicious. lovely freshly home baked scones. My boyfriend had one which included a piece of home made cake and a scone with jam and cream. He had the carrot cake... More

Contrary to previous reviewer's rude and unnecessary review, I have visited the bantam on numerous occasions and found it to be delightful! The staff are friendly and efficient and always willing to help with advice or general conversation. There is a delightful selection of home made cakes and hot food and specials. The Brie and bacon bagel is a must!... More

At the weekend me and my friend stopped for a cup of tea at the Bantam Tea Rooms. When you are paying almost £4.00 for 2 cups of tea the least you would expect is good service. After drinking our tea we were having a gossip when a lady - who I presume is the manager brought our bill over... More

On a cold easter bank holiday Monday, promises of a quaint afternoon tea in this delightful little tearoom sadly did not live up to expectations. A very friendly young man greeted me and my husband as we entered but unfortunately we were served by a 'mute' waitress who did not utter a single word throughout. My pot of Darjeeling was... More

We stayed at the Bantam Tea Rooms on 02 March 2013 - it has such a lovely spot on the High Street. Room 5 at the top was very nice indeed, having windows looking out to the front and the rear, and large enough to have its own seating area to relax or watch tv. A comfortable large bed and... More

Popped into Bantam Tea Rooms for lunch midafternoon. Lovely tea room with quite a variety of desserts in the window. Enjoyed a fine tea as well as sandwiches: ham&cheese for husband and ham&cucumber for me. Also had a salad with a delicious tomato chutney, all very good. Of course, we saved room for desserts: a huge slice of walnut cake... More

We visited Chipping Campden and noticed this tearoom from the High Street - it looked lovely from the outside with a nice selection of cakes! However, we had a less than average experience. There was no one to greet us when we came in and we were sat down for a while before a very quiet lady came to take... More

Soapy water disguised as espresso, we sought refuge from the cold in what we thought was a delightful heritage tearoom (from the outsde), only to wait 45 mins for toasted cardboard en croute, we watched the waitress run to the supermarket to buy ingredients, not once but twice, finally our sandwiches appeared to be toasting, but were then dropped on...
