We stayed one night at another hotel and had to move because it was so awful. One look at a room at the Lygon Arms, and we knew it was exactly what we needed. The room was spacious, the bathroom was lovely, and the helpful staff brought fresh flowers. We stayed two wonderful nights and would happily stay there again. more

I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. We drove on a wet Friday night, parked outside the hotel as there is no parking available for guests. We were directed straight to our room which overlooked the main street. Anybody who knows my husband will know that we normally have to swap rooms, however he was more than happy to accept room... more

We stayed for one night in this hotel in the lovely town of Chipping Campden. We had a courtyard room which was one of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Lots of little extras like the free bottled water, dressing gowns and plenty of lovely white towels in the jacuzzi bathroom. Masses of choice at breakfast and... more

We stayed for 3 nights in July in one of the new courtyard rooms. The room was spacious and comfortable with a v nice bathroom complete with a large whirlpool bath and great shower. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I have experienced and the staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant / pub food was disappointing. I... more

We have just returned from a one night stay at the Lygon Arms and we would thoroughly recommend it. We stayed in a Deluxe Courtyard room and it was lovely. It was very modern with a flat screen TV, huge bed and a jacuzzi bath and shower. It was lovely and clean and the courtyard is gorgeous. We had lunch... more

I booked many months in advance for a 5 night stay in a courtyard room and we certainly had a terrific time. We loved the whole experience. The bathroom has an amazing spacey bath/shower/spa and free bottled water and fruit platter were provided too, lovely touches ! All staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing with many many... more

Dealt with hotel directly. E-mails were always promptly answered.Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for ourselves and our 2 teen boys. Requested adjacent rooms and were given 2 rooms on the top floor facing the road. We were the only ones on this floor so it was perfect. Our King room is the same as the one with the Yellow... more

The Lygon Arms is a pub with a number of rooms in the courtyard running back from the pub itself. Although these are relatively modern, they're nicely decorated and perfectly comfortable. The breakfast (served in a dedicated breakfast room) is great, as you can choose from a range of cooked-to-order British classics like smoked haddock or smoked salmon & scrambled... more

Chipping Campden is probably among the best places to stay in the Cotswolds, and the Lygon Arms is the best hotel in town. It is a four star hotel with nice rooms and a pub which serves traditional English cuisine. Location: The hotel is in the middle of the town, close to the church as well as to shops and... more

Having recently parted with £140 a night for their "De Luxe Courtyard Room" I would strongly recommend anyone to look elsewhere. I found the customer service to be appallingly rude and nonchalant, the rooms unbearably hot and the rate overpriced and not value for money at all. Having said this I would say that breakfast was delicious and beautifully served... more
