I cannot think of other hotels when I visit to Manchester. In vibrant area, perfect location to go to everywhere of city center. Staffs are friendly and helpful, I enjoy talking with them. Rooms are perfectly decorated, bathroom is spacious with tub and shower. I cannot wait for my next visit in August.

Great location right in center of gay village and blocks from downtown Manchester (Piccadilly ) where the transit hub for bus & trams are. Rooms are great and the hotel does many fantastic small things that differentiate it from all other hotels! Would highly recommend it.

We're here 2 nights, great boutique hotel with a fab restaurant. A little noisy at night esp on weekend, but upper level room and earplugs helps. Stayed a few times now and We always love the rooms. Very well designed with great quality furniture and a real treat if your looking for something different. Perfect for romantic get away to the city. Lively place with bars all around and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I returned to Velvet this week and was reminded just what a fantastic hotel it is, from the movement sensing low-lights for those late night trips to the bathroom that save mid-night light blindness (!) to good quality biscuits and tea. Stayed there for 1 night and having read various reviews we were not disappointed. The decor was unique with a fabulous carved bed and a huge bath . We very much look forward to staying there again. .

We are regular visitors to Manchester to see family and friends and know the city well. We stumbled on Velvet when looking for a last minute deal and I can say we were not disappointed.
