Had to be near Salford Royal (Hope) Hospital as my Mum was having an operation. I'd booked a night at the Ivy Mount last weekend (12 Sept)as I was going to see Coldplay in Manchester. It was ideal - the hotel is not far off the motorway, and it's ideally located for getting into Manchester - Paul, the owner was very helpful with tram information and where to go to get a good drink etc.... more
