This is a great little Holiday Inn Express. While it is situated in a quiet area, if you turn left out of the hotel, there are several restaurants within easy walking distance and a Tesco Metro. If you walk over the bridge, there is a nearby shopping mall with an adequate Chinese restaurant. Very close to the new Media City... more

It's an OK place to stay. The rooms are adequate, but the bathroom shower is just a dribble. There is nothing to do in the area unless you have a car, but there are a few places within walking distance to eat. The hotel is situated in a dock/quay area, so that does make the views better than seeing city... more

I stayed at the hotel for a girly birthday weekend away. The rooms were massive so four of us slept in one bedroom , two on the sofa bed and two in the double bed without feeling cramped - what a bargain! The check in was speedy so we could dump our bags and head for the shops. There was... more

I booked this hotel as me and my partner needed somewhere reasonably priced to stay as we were going to see a Man United game over the weekend. I chose this hotel mainly because it was very close to the Old Trafford stadium, and secondly, because you cant really go wrong with a Holiday Express hotel...at least you know pretty... more

Simple rooms but a good price, with parking included (unlike a lot of Manchester city centre hotels), and in a good location close to Salford Quays tram stop and also Old Trafford if you're coming up for the football. Only disappointment was the breakfast, not because it was your standard continental breakfast, but because the hotel needs to think about... more

I arrived by tram (alight Salford Quays then a five minute walk that can feel a bit exposed at night), getting caught in a heavy shower. Friendly and quick check in (perhaps because I am in the Priority Club). Very busy on a July Saturday with several stag / hen groups, which made me wonder about P & Q. Further... more

Just stayed one nite here. Staff very helpful, good parking. Loads of places to eat nearby. Handy tram stop near by for getting into manchester. Dont drive in. Comfy rooms tho the sky tv was down, but i think that was due to the very bad weather at the time. Great free breakfast. more

Very pleasant stay here. We booked a disabled room and found the bathroom was large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. It was a wet room (no bath just powerful, adjustable shower) very clean and bright with Dove wash creams. (nice touch) The room was large enough to manoeuvre the wheelchair and nicely furnished. We could see Manchester Utd football ground... more

We stayed here after a gig and it suited us fine. Very nice location on the waterfront. Modern and clean hotel with a bar (which is always a bonus!). We took the tram into the city centre (at the bottom of the road) which took about 10 mins and then onwards to the gig. Breakfast is the usual continental buffet... more

After staying in Jurys Inn Liverpool for 2 nights ( Don't Stay there). We knew this Hotel couldn't be worse . We were greeted by a very friendly Receptionist and through out our stay all staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with plenty of towels, coffee and cups. The location is fine about 10 minutes drive... more
