What a disgrace to our wonderful city this hotel is. My room was very dated (dirty walls, threadbare carpets, old CRT tv), dirty and smelt like an ashtray. this was the first and last time I stayed at the Brittania. For the money I expected a lot more but quite frankly what I got was a very tired, shabby Victorian building badly in need of major investment.
