Generally I find that standards at Premier Inn are consistently good, but this former Golden Tulip property is one of the better ones. The adjoining restaurant is not a Harvester, Beefeater or similar but a much pleasanter dining experience altogether. My room had clearly been recently refurbished to a high standard. Ideal location for the football at Old Trafford. Literally 2 minutes walk. Could see the stadium from the bedroom window. Restaurant in the hotel very reasonable and the food was great. Only downside was the you couldnt get a hot drink at either of the bars untill 11am more

Myself and my 12 year old son stayed at this hotel for the Middlesborough game on Dec 29th, Hotel is located across the road from the stadium, literally 2 mins.
