In this hotel I've spent a few nights with friends and one on my own. The hall and stairs are unique and interesting, common areas were very nice too thanks to lovely xmas decorations. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I think this is a great place to stay, considered the cheap price and overall service provided.... more

I was after a cheap room for after a gig. And that's what we got. Ok, it was only £60 but I was still disappointed. The hotel stank of cigarette smoke. The bar was closed when we got back after the gig. The bathroom was black and mouldy. The window was filthy and did nothing to keep out any noise.... more

This hotel provided me: 2 Clean towels Shampoo (new and sealed) Soap (new and sealed) Clean single room Tea/Coffee Making facilities TV with 3 channels (which are very clear). My only complaint is there are no hooks in the room for wet towels or clothes. The excellent location meant there was constant noice from external clubs/trains/trams - But I expected... more

It was the worst stay in our whole england tour. Our room was dirty, our window was able to open for 5 centimeters. and there was no light coming from outside.. Never go there again. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! I had nightmares... that was the worst hotel i've seen in my life! more

We stayed at this hotel because of the location to the railway station and the city centre in general. Can't complain about that! However when we arrived at this hotel the service we received was unacceptable. We were greeted with an angry face on the reception too busy with a personal conversation to speak to us. He checked us in... more

It was an awful experience. Our room (double room en-suite) was quite big but old. The window was in front of a wall and it was impossible to close it completely because it was broken. In the room there was a big chest of drawers and in all the drawers there were stains. It wasn't clean at all: the bathroom... more

I booked a single room so I did not expect a penthouse suite. But neither did I expect the room to be that tiny. Even though there were no chairs, table or any other furnitures apart from a bed and bedside table, there was still hardly any room to move around. The hotel looked and felt very dated - very... more
