I stayed in Citi Park Hotel with a group of friends when we went to watch the OASIS concert at Heaton Park. I chose this hotel as it was the closest one I could find to Heaton Park and also one of the cheapest! £67 per room. The Hotel was a 10 minute taxi drive but about 45 minute walk.... more

Moving on, we could not open the bathroom door without moving our bed, so we decided to move the bed over, behind the bed was filthy, tab ends, rubbish, hair, dust, disgusting!!!! but at least we could use the bathroom. The bathroom door was almost see through and so close to the bed, not ideal when this was me and my... more

Firstly we arrived at the Citi Mansions, which looked like a shelter for the homeless or drug addicted. Where we were told that this was not where our room was - they forwarded us onto the Citi Park Hotel further down the road, the girl told us it was 'better', I feel her standards are extremely low! So...on arrival, there... more

Where do you start. I took a punt on this place. It was probably the only hotel i booked with shocking reviews. I should have taken notice. The bedroom was no bigger than a normal sized bathroom. The bed itself was terrible. The toilet / shower area was filthy and old. The stairs leading up to the room are very... more

Please avoid this hotel, otherwise you will be sorely disappointed. A group of us booked into a sister hotel of this one, called Citi Mansions. 2 days after we booked they called us to say that they didn't have rooms left, so they offered our group this one. Quickly checked out the description, location, veiwed the photographs and reluctantly agreed.... more

This hotel was one of the worst I have ever been to, beginning with the fact that the hotel was basically a couple of terraced houses knocked together. The customer service was shocking - young assistant on duty, who we caught smoking pot right on the premises! The entire decor was either out of place or ill-fitting. The entire building... more

I've never seen such a damp even under a bridge in Venice! There is absolute Humidity. It's not healthy to stay in such a place. First of all when the water comes down from the roof everything gets wet and this bad for your bones health in general and a danger for the electrical forniture. The heat doesn't work and... more

I booked this hotel nearly two weeks before because of the EUFA cup final in Manchester. I thought at the time how luckly I was to get a hotel. I then proceeded to book airfairs etc. My Husband and daughter then travelled on the 12 May and arrived at the hotel 2230 to be told on entering the reception desk,... more

We stayed at this 'hotel' in early May having booked via the internet. When we got there there was only one young lad running the whole show and he was clearly in no position of authority. He gave us a room in the attic but had to quickly go and get it ready . Half an hour later we were... more
