Looks ok but that's as far as it goes. It is pretending to be a classy hotel but has less finesse than a motorway services travel lodge. This hotel is a five/ ten minute walk from piccadilly so is very central. The room was luuurrrvely! Great big huge windows ( the biggest ive ever seen in a hotel) we had views of the train station platforms which is interesting for people watching... That wasnt the only big thing either! Stayed at the Macdonald for a girlie weekend and will certainly be going again. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious with huge city view window and large bathroom with a modern and tastefull decor throughout. Breakfast was served until midday and you can have as much as you like.... more
