Location: On route to Reims in Petite Venice. A short walk to all sights in Colmar yet quiet and peaceful. Hotel: Old building, completely modern inside. Wehad a large room on the top floor. Great bathroom with powerful shower. Room was charming with exposed beam. View of rooftops of Colmar. Staff: Everyone was very helpful, especially Valarie and Sophie. Breakfast:... more

When it comes to hotels one thing is really important to us and that's service. Yes, the rooms were realy smart. Yes, it's ideal for exploring Colmar and is in a great location. But whatever little thing I asked for, the staff were fabulous. Nothing ever seemed to be any trouble and everything was done with charm and enthusiasm. Breakfast... more

We last stayed in this hotel 20 years ago. Now the bed/bathrooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard - top end of three star, modern, stylish and comfortable. I have read a few tripadvisor quibbles about breakfast, but for a small hotel I thought it was perfectly adequate-decent coffee, help yourself choice of breads and cakes, hard... more

The moment I walked into Le Colombier, I knew it was going to be a comfortable hotel. I will say that some of the rooms are larger than others and it seems also that the air conditioning works better in some rooms, but it is a good hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are quite updated. The breakfast... more

Colmar deserves to be much better known; it's a gorgeous Alsatian town full of traditional timber framed houses clustered around a series of canals. Every alternate building is a restaurant and the food is fabulous. This hotel is charming, in a perfect central location. Our room was quiet and comfortable, certainly I would stay again if we returned here. No... more

This is really a great place to explore the city and the region. Good rooms, nice breakfast and fantastic location right in the heart of Colmar. You can walk to all the places you need and there´s no problem parking because there are always places in front of the hotel. We liked very much our stay in the Colombier. more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel le Colombier July 17-19 2009. We visited Colmar in order to watch the beginning of Stage 14 of the Tour de France and to explore the Alsace wine region. Colmar is a very cute town. Not a lot to do, but it a perfect base for exploring Alsace. The hotel was great...... more

We were not disappointed with the Colombier. After staying at a "charming inn," with old furniture, no AC and few amenities, we were ready for a modern, well appointed hotel in historic Colmar. The weather was hot (close to 90) and the AC was borderline for handling that, but way better than none at all like in so many European... more

I stayed two nights at this hotel with a friend, it was a very cute place but upon booking we were booked a small room with a single bed so we had to upgrade to avoid sleeping in same bed, we had the loft suite which was just okay for a "suite", my friend slept in the upstairs room which... more
