As the title says, this is a regular hotel. Has a nice breakfast. Wouldnt mind staying here again, but only if there is no availability at other (more exciting) hotels. Its a good place to sleep, nothing more. more

Centrally located but difficult to find as hotel name not very visible from road. Room quite small but very clean and nicely decorated. A friend found the hotel. Our first choice ( Grand Bristol ) was unavailable, (tried to book 3 months ahead )...Amiral was only hotel ??? available at time. Staff....not really interested in you as a guest .. (we booked 3 rooms for 2 nights.) Accommodation: ....very small rooms, clean /but in need of major refurbishment. A few blocks away from the pedestrian medeival streets, this is a well-kept and comfortable hotel for most travelers. Rooms in good condition, attentive staff. Not the most charming place to live in Colmar, but it works well. If you have a large car, beware of the claustrophobic underground parking garage. more
