Having had just spent several days at "Boyer les Crayeres" in Reims, Hotel Beaucour was far less luxurious, but far less expensive. Beaucour lives up to its name, beautiful courtyard, within steps of the cathedral, shops and restaurants. During our early May 2003 stay, we booked the hotel's "romantic package". It was a good deal (weekend package, two night stay required): $200 per night for two, including a large double room, excellent breakfast and dinner for two without drinks at a choice of two excellent local restaurants. (A double room itself is fairly priced otherwise at about $140 without breakfast). I would tend to disagree with Michelin and Frommers, this place was definetly not luxury, but borderline or below. There was wear and tear in the hallways, elevator, and German package tourists to trip over. Our room was spacious, great light, nice bathroom, but still a little less than I expected.
