We spent 3 nights in the Hotel des Artes (Citodel is a group name) in Oct. 2005. The location is as central as can be, about a block from Cathedral Square, yet quiet, on mostly-pedestrian streets. Rooms were nicely decorated, clean and pleasant, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. A great base for exploring this wonderful city. more

Citotel des Arts is right in old Strasbourg, and so its location is its best feature. There is no elevator, and that's its worst. The room was comfortable, though our bathroom was barely a closet. I recently spent a night here during a cycling holiday. The room was small but clean. The great thing about this hotel is its location with plenty of cafes and restaurants on the square and surrounding area, as well as being within meters of the starting points of the sightseeing boats (1 minute walk) and road-trains (max. 5 minute walk).... more

This place really was a gem - very centrally located in a lovely historical part of town - close to all the nightlife and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and cosy and decorated nicely. Staff was friendly and helpful (we arrived very late at night). more
