We were a student group of 6 and had a great time at the Ciarus Hostel. Conveniently located, it has all the major amenities for a hostel: a cafe/restaurant, a bar, wireless internet downstairs (1 Euro/Day), a laundry room etc. The rooms were fine and clean. more

The hostel was amazing!! Despite the small rooms, it was extremely clean. Features include an en-suite bathroom, and some rooms include a small balcony, which had a beautiful view of traditional buildings and the lovely city itself. We have just stayed twice again within one trip, with a large group of 12-24 year olds, and unfortunately were not quite as happy with the accommodation. I've stayed in lots of hostels all over the world, and none has ever come close to Ciarus on the quality of its location, decor, furnishings, cleanliness or staff. I cannot recommend this place highly enough; more
