fantastic place in chartrons which is 5 - 10 mins walk from the centre of Bordeaux. Ecolodge des Chartrons is on a narrow street just off the quays. The main door opens onto a stone corridor which leads up to the central courtyard of the house. This place is absolutely awesome. Beautiful stone building, amazing furnishings, a huge and gorgeous shower, and just a stone's throw from the waterfront. The owners were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. I can't recommend it highly enough! more

The warm welcome and service of the owners of this lovely guest house made our four day stay in Bordeaux a very pleasant experience. We felt more like house guests then paying tourists!
