We spent a few days in bordeaux and we were delighted to stay at blue lodge. The house and the room are beautiful, very cozy, we felt right at home from the start thanks to a great welcoming by the owners. The room was quite big, quiet and very clean. The breakfast was good and it was nice to chat... More

We stayed in this wonderful chambre d'hôte for 3 nights. Unfortunately when I arrived I was not feeling very well. As we do not speak very much french Valérie, whose English is perfect, went with my wife to the local pharmacy to help her buy me some medication. The next day I was not any better, so, Valérie with this... More

This B&B was superb! It was like being at home and certainly what we needed after almost 5 weeks travelling through Europe. Valérie was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. She gave us a full overview of the city and suggested a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The tram stop to the city is an easy couple of minutes walk from Blue... More

A lovely bed and breakfast. Great for having the convenience of the tram into town (5/10 mins walk to tram stop, then just a few mins into centre - runs till 1am or so at weekends) but the peace and quiet for a relaxing night's sleep. We were in the Trois Ages room and the décor was very elegant and... More

The owners are very friendly. When you arrive, you get a lot of great tips about the city and the restaurants. They recommended two restaurants and they were indeed very nice! The breakfast is good, the hostess makes sure there’s always enough food and drinks. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The tram is nearby.

I see there are several commentaries about rooms, the B&B decorations, etc., so I'd like to focus on personalities, and how the Maison Bleue was so welcoming and easy to stay at that its considerable comforts are even outshined by the people who run it. I stayed for two weeks at the Maison Bleue, but what struck me from the... More

We booked out two rooms in this B & B, one of which we asked for an extra bed to be placed. The hosts were very obliging, friendly and had great knowledge of the region. The rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds and extremely stylishly decorated. Most importantly the breakfast was delicious! Over the three nights that we stayed... More

We travel a great deal and this was just about the best B&B we have every stayed at. We were particularly impressed by how warm and friendly the hosts are. We were cycle touring and they kept some luggage for us between stays. They also kept our bikes while we did a side trip to Spain. They gave us lifts... More
