Not a long walk to anywhere in Bordeux from this hotel. Rooms were quite worn and very much in need of the renovation which was ongoing in the reception area. Great location,great staff.In need of some TLC but very clean. Only one complaint,street noise in the early hours.Would advise trying to book a room at the back of the hotel. more

The hotel was a little 'tired' and could definitely benefit from a refurbishment and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell coming from the plug hole of the basin, but other than that it was very clean and the staff were friendly. You get what you pay for and what you were paying for here was definitely the location.... more

An excellent hotel for the price. A large comfortable room with all facilities working. Very friendly staff. We stayed at this hotel for three nights and would highly recommend it. Great location, helpful staff and excellent value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. Spent a very pleasant three days there during the Fete le Vin at the end of June. First of all, the location is excellent! A five minute walk from the river esplanade, and a five minute walk from the downtown area (Grand Theatre and starting point for walking tours).
