Adequate hotel in a scruffy part of Bordeaux but linked to the centre by bus direct from the front door or tram a 7 minute walk away. Good food though in restaurant with a decent breakfast and mostly friendly staff. More

Rooms are a bit tight for a 4 stars hotels but the bed is very comfortable . The location is great : if you walk 5 mns on the cours Saint-emilion you arrive on the "quai de la garonne" with shops retaurants and Tramway facilities if you want to go into the very centre for 1.40 euros one way ...... Within the Mercure chain of hotels this is a gem. Close to the city centre (10 minutes walking, tram connects also), totally quiet but with the necessary bit of infrastructure (bar, restaurant, shopping facilities) in and around the house. The reception desk staff were brilliant - very friendly and very helpful. The room was great - huge bed and an amazing shower. Slightly odd layout with the toilet being separate. The hotel was great, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, huge bathroom! It's a bit far from the city centre (25min walk) but has got a really cheap bike hire station in front. Would definitely stay there again! More
