We needed a hotel for an overnight stay close to the Bordeaux railway station and the ticket office clerk in the station itself made the reservation for us. Access was easy by car along a one way system. Our GPS system helped greatly. You would need a good map otherwise. There is an unmetered car park right across the road... more

This is the only hotel that my wife and I booked due to its' location, which is close to the Gare St. Jean. Talk about scuzzy...the lobby is a bar, cafeteria, full of smoke and seedy. This IBIS is around the corner from Gare St Jean and is overlooking a very very busy road, so getting in and out of the hotel can be an issue. Rooms are very small and quite basic. Very near the clubs and bars so ideal if you want to go out in Bordeaux. Not a great IBIS and could do... more
