The room was tatty, mouldy & a litlle smelly. The carpet was fillthy, even dangerous as it was all crumpled The Hotel is badly in need of modernisation. The staff were very helpful and pleasant which does help. More

We stayed at de Seze for 2 nights, our room and ensuite looked old and tired and the balcony doors leaked water onto the worn out carpet when it rained. The location was excellent and the staff were friendly but the hotel seemed to us a bit over priced for what it was. More

Had just one night at the hotel, which was more than enough. Tired sums up the building, almost comotose. Dirty worn carpets; decor untouched since the '70's. Staff however were pleaasant and helpful and we were assured that the place was to be overhauled next year. Don't go until it is! More

I think it should be mentioned here that this hotel is connected (physically) to the Royal Medoc, a less expensive alternative that shares the same reception and lobby. I reviewed that hotel, but the two should be listed together. I saw rooms in this one, but did not feel they were worth extra money, so stayed in the Royal Medoc. More
