My husband and I stayed at the Pullman in September, for one night only. After a long flight from Asia via Paris and picking up our car at the start of our trip to France, I thought it looked easy to find and could park the car. We found the doorman very helpful and he parked the car in the... more

This is primarily a business hotel on the outskirts of the town. It's very modern and clean and the breakfast is above average. However, the setting is not picturesque (even with the lake) and getting into town by bus & tram, although cheap and quite quick during peak hours, is not good on a Sunday or in the evening. There... more

My family (two adults and three children) stayed for three nights at the Pullman Bordeaux in August 2008. We were very very pleased with our entire stay right from the beginning. We were welcomed by a doorman who knew our name and knew that we had two rooms reserved and he helped with our luggage and parked our car. The... more

The Pullman used to be a Sofitel hotel and we booked it based on experiences with this chain before. On the whole we weren't disappointed. The hotel is situated outside the city center, but this made it relatively easy to access by car. It is surrounded by other chain hotels, exhibition halls and a couple of chain restaurants (which we... more

This hotel is placed in the hotel equivalent of an industrial estate. It has an uninspiring exterior and a chic and modern interior. Recption staff are polite yet unhelpful. They could offer little advice on hotel or room facilities. When we asked whether or not the complimentary bottle of red wine could be exchanged to bottle of white as my... more

Pullman hotels are rebranded Sofitels, the luxury offering from Accor. In the lobby of the hotel was a banner describing Pullman as " new attitude for the business traveller" but I think bad attitude is more fitting. Why? Well first my email requesting information on getting to the hotel was not answered. I opted to get there by public transport... more

This hotel has just changed its name to The Pullman. Pity they did not think to email guests who had booked some time ago. It was sort of hard to find! No complaints about it otherwise apart from the fact that it stands among a motley forest of other hotels and, despite having a lake view, is hardly an aesthetic... more

We stayed at the Sofitel Bordeaux from Sept 19-21. We had a tiny bit of a rough beginning because our Taxi overcharged us. From the train station to the hotel is a 20 minute car ride wich shoud have cost us about 20-30 Euros but cost us almost 50. The best thing is that there is a bus station right... more

We have just returned form a few days at the Sofitel Bordeaux. It is located at Bordeaux-Lac, just north of the city, where the famous D2 road starts winding through the world's most prestigious wine lands. The hotel is in a wide cluster of Accor hotels, that includes all their brands (from 1 to 5 stars: Étap, Ibis, Mercure, Novotel... more
