Clean airy hotel easy to find near the station and tram stops. Helpful polite staff. Rooms clean and well decorated. Good bathrooms with efficient showers. Good breakfast buffet, or there are lots of local cafes if you prefer to sit outside. Quieter than I expected in this location. The local bars are a bit dire. I would drink nearer town.... more

Be aware that althogh this is a cheap place to stay, it is close to the train station and the atmosphere is quite "interesting" after hours! It has several sex shops around it and hence the gentry... Given that the hotel is based in Bordeaux's slightly seedier area (strip joints abound) I can honestly say the place was spotless and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly - something often lacking in establishments with 4+ stars!
