If the smell of fish (or something dead, I don't really know what it was) is what you like, book this hotel. If not, run for your life! The receptionist was nice enough and I guess the problems are not his fault, but the owners.

Appart'hotel Victoria Garden is pretty much everything you'd expect from a decent budget hotel. The room we stayed in was clean, a good size and even had a small kitchenette. Easy to find. Good parkingarea. The best breakfast at a cheap hotel. Clean room and decent size. Unfortunately Bordeaux isn't the most interesting city in France. Otherwise the surroundings are great. Visit Saint Emillon and tou will not be disappointed!

The rooms are clean, the area is really quiet. Only problem: we had to store our bikes in our rooms, despite being promised a secure room in which to keep them overnight. That was a very small problem and I'd stay here again.
