Stayed here with a group, as we were attending a wedding in Biarritz. Apartments were spacious enough, double bedroom area was two twin beds pushed together with a curtain separating it from the sitting room area. There was an ample kitchenette area with fridge etc which we didn't use but looked fine and a little bunk bed area beside this.... more

Be careful of your valuables in your room as we had all our money stolen from our locked room. The hotel have not been very helpful in recovering our property. This has marred an otherwise very good holiday. more

A solid choice. Great location between the two beaches and within easy downhill reach of many cafes and restaurants. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Decent quality accommodation with a big balcony. The 'heated' pool really was heated to a standard 28C. Quiet, very big room (multiple bedrooms). Clean. Nice staff. I wish all hotels were like this. We only stayed here for one night (going to San Sebastian) but Biarritz seems to be very nice Nice hotel more

Can only echo the other reviews. We spent a week here and it was wonderful. Great location and amazing views, you must get an apartment facing the sea and on one of the upper floors (we were at the top on 8), it's possible the lower floors might not have views of the sea due to some buildings in front... more

Stayed in le Grande Large last weekend for a hen party and for what we paid which was €43 each for two nights we didn't know what to expect. It was absolutely spotless the rooms had everything you would need. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and very helpful. It is a few minutes walk from the beach... more

Booked the Grand Large in Biarritz as it looked very reasonable. Paid €14 for flights with ryanair so we were delighted to get accommodation for four nights for €65 each (three sharing a 4 bed studio apt). Don't be put off by the exterior of the building - the rooms are spotless, nicely decorated and well equipped with self catering... more
