We did not intend to stay here but stumbled across the village of, Les Eyzies-de-Tayac on route to our camp site in the pouring rain (all camping abandonded!). Stayed here for four nights in July. The area is fantastic - filled with pre-history sites and medieval castles. We spent two nights in early December in Les Eyzies, and while the weather was awful, the hotel was lovely. We have stayed at the Cro-Magnon on 5 separate occasions over the years. Without exception, each visit has been truly wonderful. We (my wife and I) went on 2 occasions and took our children the last 3 visits. We recommend it highly. more
