We found this hotel on through the Logis de France network of hotels. It's located just at the end of the main street of Montignac.

We arrived by car. The hotel has a small parking area to the side. Our room was up a flight of stairs on the front of the building looking onto the road. It was sparsely decorated but clean. The night we arrived it was a bit cold and the heat did not seem to be working. There was no thermostat so we just piled on the blankets. Since it's also a restaurant we were woken up in the morning by the delivery trucks out front.

We were asked if we would have breakfast in the AM thinking it was included we said yes. We were surprised with an 8euro charge the next day for a crossaint, egg, yogurt and coffee.

If only staying for a night like we did the hotel was fine but I would not recommend it for any longer periods of time. more
