Yes, it is a little difficult to find but well worth the effort. We stayed for three nights and found it to be a good base for visiting the Pyrenees, an hour's drive to Bayonne and Biarritz, but a little too far for an easy walk into the centre of Pau. We stayed here for a Friday night in June and really enjoyed it. Our room was on the first floor of the main building so was very large and had excellent views of the rear garden and the Pyrenees. We found it very quiet, though it seemed there must have only been a few rooms occupied in the whole hotel.... more
