For the price (155Euro/200 USD),in the City Center,this could have been an incredible hotel. However the pricey "Privilege Rooms" are located beneath the mansard roof on the 4th floor. The hotel has been refurbished since my last visit, the rooms now have an up beat feel to them, staff are as good as ever. This time I chose a mercure privilege room, good size room with all amenities. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the central shopping area and good restaurants.

Let's get to why this didn't get a top rating from me - the decor is late '80's, shows signs of wear and needs updating. Everything else was great. Staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The Mercure is what one might expect for a typical business hotel in the city centre. Good secure parking. Very small rooms,no mini-bar. Friendly helpful reception staff. We enjoyed a good Sunday lunch at La Taula restaurant near the cathedral. Doesn't look much from the outside but it is a quality restaurant.

Arrived late,rooms available,helpful staff, room comfortable and clean,decent shower.The bed was comfortable and there was free Internet. Great view of the square. Breakfast was adequate. There is ample car parking at the rear of the hotel.
