We wish to "congratulate" the directors and staff of this SLH member on managing to almost offset the beauty of this architectural gem, its prime location on the beach of a lovely Atlantic bay and its hundred year history by some of their service provided to the hotel customers. Hotel very nice with large comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and restaurant excellent. The spa is fabulous and location is beach front. The only loose end here is that there seems to be a disconnect with housekeeping. Tidying up rooms was very slow. They took away towels the first night and never replaced fully... same for shampoo, etc. Found items left... more

This is a wonderful hotel and we loved our stay in one of the Terrace Rooms (with large terrace). The feather beds are the best we have ever encountered in our previous stays at 4 or 5 star hotels around the world (and we have done a lot of them).
