This is not a good hotel for business travelers...period. We were here for my husband's conference at the Palais du Grand Large. There were plenty of conference participants staying here, and you'd see them all in the lobby trying (often unsuccessfully) trying to get wireless internet access. I stayed here alone for one night. I only booked the day before I travelled and originally didnt plan to stay overnight as I don't like travelling alone. The biggest recommendation would be to spend the night in the walls, all the day-trippers are gone and the place is really neat to wander around. This hotel is very centrally located within "Intra Muros". Intra Muros is fantastic with lots of cobbled streets full of shops and bars/restaurants everywhere. We stayed here as a stop from our ferry from Poole before driving south in to France. The location of the hotel is fantastic as its very central and near the front gate of the city walls.
