We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, mostly because of the superb service, but also the location and ambiance. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and Saint Servan is beautiful. You can see the sea from almost everywhere and the walk to St. Malo is round a pretty bay. The lady owner couldn't have been more helpful. Treated us as her personal guests. Great quiet location, just opposite harbour. Choice of nice breakfasts. If you can get a room with a view towards the sea, don't think twice. It is absolutely worth it. Its awesome to wake up in the morning and be able to see the sea in the morning. We stayed in several hotels in St. Malo area, including Intramuros, but La Rance was defenitely the best one. If you are lucky you get a room with a balcony with incredible seaview. Hotel is very small and people there are extraordinary friendly! more

You'll see from the other reviews that this is a small gem of a hotel which offers a five-star experience. The hosts simply couldn't have done enough for us...charming, helpful, friendly.
