We stayed at Catherine and Andre's house with our kids (11,14,17) for 3 nights. Both Catherine and Andre are very kind,friendly and helpful. They have transformed an old barn into a very confortable B&B.
We got to have the "family quarters": 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It felt like a small condo without a kitchen.
We have really enjoyed the large - and long -new beds (which is very unusual in France!). They have smooth duvets (and not those french scratchy old coverts!) too.
The French breakfast is tasty and is served with fresh, crunchy crusted bread delivered by the baker . In addition to the ambiance, we made it a point, to taste the housemade jams and the organic fresh butter...
It was also our chance to taste and buy their exquisite wine.
Other than this, we visited Auxerre (6km), Chablis (10km) and Vezelay.
All in all, we were sold on this charming B&B. It is now included in our itinerary for the next time! ... more
