This place doesn't market itself as a hotel, so don't expect it to be. It's a Chateaux where the owners let the rooms out to paying guests and provide breakfast, which was simple but delicious. From a distance this hotel looked charming, alas it is sorely in need of renovation/maintenance. When we arrived our room had not been cleaned and we had to wait 45 minutes for access. When i was in Vézelay, i stay in an lovely, romantic cactle hotel: le château d'Island. It is warm, quiet, the room is luxuous, i recommended this place more
