This hotel was perhaps the best we stayed in. The rooms were small of course but very clean comfortable and well ventilated. There were with nice touches like a personal safe, a bath and shower, and a relatively large wardrobe. Although not in the old town it was within 5 minutes' drive and parking was never a problem. I found this hotel to be neat clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and made a point of regularly checking to see if everything was OK with our stay. English is spoken. Stayed overnight on our trip to Mount Ventoux area. Nice hotel, good breakfast for France standards - owner is sometimes that friendly that you get tired - I can understand that people get bored from his way of encourageing you for example at breakfast - price for the overnight is good - breakfast room is small and not realy inviting more
We were doing a quick drive by of Beaune and decided to stay here based upon good Trip Advisor recommendations. Located on the main road into Beaune, we received a warm welcome and clean, cute room for a reasonable price. Having never been to Beaune I would say this a good value. Hotel Alesia is a perfect place to inexpensively lay your head in Beaune, especially if you have a car. Easy to find with free parking, it's then a 10 minute walk to the old city. After years of business travel this is the rarest of finds: a small independent hotel with absolute commitment to service and spotless, unfussy facilities. Being taken to the restaurant of your choice and then being given a lift back made this an outstanding experience. more
