Hotel Just purchased one year ago by very nice, friendly and knowledgable couple in theoir late 30's. Had several very pleasant conversations with the owners during our two day stay over Bastille Day weekend. Nicolas was extremely helpful with our wine and food selections at his bar abd restaurant. Also very kinwledgable about the Beaune and Burgundy area, and particularly knowledgable about the regions wines. The hotel and grounds are very nicely decorated, clean and well kept. Rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated in country fashion, with a bit of modern flair. The owner bought the entire place as an established business and in the short one year of ownership have done a great job with it. Apparently the restaurant was formerly one star Michelin and Nicolas says that he aspires to get the star back in the future. All in all a very nice place. Book on Expedia as opposed to directly with the hotel as the rates are considerably lower. Worth the visit. Two hours from Paris by TGV... more
