Modest exterior, but a useful find near Beaune town centre. Room adequate and well-soundproofed (despite 2 courtyards of cars nearby). Watch out that you don't get tempted into ordering the "pressé" orange juice at breakfast, for which there is an extra E3,50 charge (which was not displayed). Arrived in Beaune in a mixture of snow and rain, anxious to get into a comfy place. The hotel recommended by friends was closed, so we continued walking and found this lovely spot. The parking is private and protected and easy to get into and out of. The room was cheerful, newly redone, comfortable, and had a clean, big bathroom.... more

I stayed here with a friend in late October of 2007 for two nights. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the property. Our room looked worn and a bit dirty and the bathroom smelled terribly of mold and mildew (you could visibly see black mold in the grout.) In retrospect, we should have asked to see another room. Clean basic accommodation, we got exactly what we expected. They had a family room which very comfortably accommodated our family of 5 - which was a real treat! Very central, and great staff!!!! more

We just returned from a long weekend in Beaune. The hotel is rather central which makes it easy to go to the centre. Very pleasant. The staff was generally very friendly and helpful. We stayed here in July 2007 for one night. Overall I was generally impressed, and this hotel is definitely a great option for the budget traveller who wants basic, clean rooms. I found it excellent value for money, the service was pleasant, and the location was around 5 minutes walk to the famous Beaune Hospice. more

This quiet hotel, just a few minutes walk from the south city gate, is a great relaxed base for Beaune. The rooms are arranged arround an inner courtyard, with ample parking which is a relief. A top flight base from which to explore Beaune, spacious, clean accomodation at a reasonable price. Great bathroom and excellent shower, breakfast was of a high standard but limited. There is no lift so difficult for people with disabilities if on the first floor. Superb michelin star restaurant 50m away. more
